January – February

March – April
Weather: Not as frigid as February, March is still fairly chilly and don’t pack up the warm coat. Temperatures in March has ranged anywhere from 30-50 degrees Fahrenheit, but the average is the mid to high 40’s. April brings temperatures in 45-65 degrees Fahrenheit range; many times prior to a spring thunderstorm, temperatures can get as high as 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
What to Wear: To defray HVAC system operating costs, keep the long sleeves on. Heading outdoors should entail having an umbrella, warm coat, and maybe gloves to stay comfortable. More often than not, snow is not usually in the forecast, however, every few years, Manhattan experiences snow in April.
May – June

What to Wear: Light weight summer clothes help during the day, light wraps and layers are used as the nights cool off and through the end of October. A jacket may be needed here and there while outside.
November – December
Weather: In November, highs are in the 40-50 degree area and by December, the temperature has fallen to the 30-40 degree. Like the unpredictability of weather conditions, it can be abnormally warmer or cooler, but it is on rare occasions.
What to Wear: Dress warm to spare expenses on heating bills and outside plan on heavier jackets and consider a hat, scarf, and gloves.
